The local area of the Gotiti community is a lush forested area with a communal village. The people here are well experienced and invested in the coffee industry, with a passion for excellence and the wisdom from past experiences shared through the community. Here, heirloom varieties are cultivated on small plots of land, intercropped with other plants for shade or for soil amendments. Farmers transport their pickings to the washing station in Gotiti, constructed in 2023. The washing station handles 500-600 tons of washed coffees, serving 868 farmers who deliver cherry to this location. An impressive feat, even more so underscored by the delicious flavor found in the brew. This lot contains notes of fresh citrus, sweet like meyer lemon. There is a sweet-tart acidity reminiscent of cranberry, with a smooth oolong tea-like finish. Clarity, complexity and fun flavors.
