The Buesaco area of Narino in Colombia has garnered much attention in recent years as many Cup of Excellence winning lots originated here. With soaring altitudes, rich volcanic soils and intense UV light along the equator, the area is primed for coffee excellence. This lot is comprised of coffee gathered from 200 farmers, all with roughly 2-3 acres per farm. Each producer is micro-processing their harvests to contribute to a larger communal lot. Here, the coffee is grown between 2,030 and 2,050 meters and is made up of Colombia, Caturra and Typica varieties. We find delicious flavors of dried blueberry, macadamia nut and custard.
